My goal was to design a computer based performance that was less about the technology involved, and more about extending a traditional approach to performance. Audio from a violin and a vocal mic are fed into a computer running the patch. Three switchable modules process input, and output on 4 channels. Everything is controlled from a MIDI foot controller, allowing for simultaneous violin + computer manipulation, and eliminating the need for computer presence on stage. About the modules, briefly;

Module1;
Focuses on extending the harmonic depth of the violin, esp. sustained tones. Simple delay + pitch shift array creates harmonic density. Foot controller is used to step through preset interval configurations, and adjusts feedback and pitch shift amounts.

Module2;
manipulates and spatializes more percussive source material.

Module3;
attempts to emulate analog tape delay, and introduce melodic phasing. controls are used to put 'play heads' (each speaker) gradually out of phase with one another, and to bring them back into sync over a given period of time.

As is exists now, it's a little buggy, and poorly documented. Components of it may be useful on their own, though.
